Today was Gramma Day.
It was so warm here that we spent the majority of the day outdoors playing under the sunshine in the mud puddles. I really didn't play in the mud, but merely sat nearby observing a child's wonderment as she threw small rocks into puddles and stirred the muddy water with her hand.
No need to interrupt nor interject.
It was her very own time.
Her very own play.
A gift.
What a sweet precious photo. It all starts here, soon she'll be planting a garden of her own! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweetie! This winter has been so long, I am about as excited to play in the puddles as that little lady was! Lovely post. Thanks for sharing.

They are little scientists, aren't they? Doing their research studies, experimenting, organizing the data in their incredible minds.
ReplyDeleteOh so sweet! What a wonderful blessing to be able to sit and watch...
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the precious moments in life and a joy to watch...I was out most of the day today too...pure Heaven! Come say hi :D
ReplyDeleteOh how cute -- you're a great grandma! And boy, look at all that mud -- 'tis the season!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how wonderful it is to watch a small child play? I could do it for hours.
ReplyDeleteHappy Gramma Day!

What a darling little love bug! I've always loved mud puddles, especially with a fine pair of boots! I spent so many hours watching my kids play and now that the oldest grands are three, I'm doing it again. Isn't it bliss?
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable picture -- spring is such a wonderful time of year!
ReplyDeleteI read your comment and will be doing a post on your question -- as soon as I can get back into my blog! I've been having some password issues the last couple days and Google locked me out (the nerve!). Will post again just as soon as I possibly can.
What a beautiful photo and such a sweetie :) Thanks for making me smile Jody :)
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day!
