Thanks for your sweet comments everybody! I gave the scarf to My Girl yesterday and she liked it!
Britt-Arnhild, rubblework is just a fun word for patchwork. Think of it as building a wall with different shapes and sizes of bricks and you have "rubblework."
I don't know how on earth I found your blog, but I saved it as a favorite! You are a real country gal - I just play at it. I too have colorful egg layers, but my girls are in the sunny south (SC). My name is JODI - too! How funny! Loved your scarf (Coke lover also) and the photos of your life in the country - deep snow and all. I couldn't imagine! You have some really great ideas on all sorts of stuff (from wedding mints to cool mud boots) and I just wanted to say thank you for being a fellow blogger. Life gets heavy sometimes and your blog makes me smile and inspires me (when I get the kids to bed & check in). I still can't believe we have the same name - one letter off! Have a wonderful winter, Jody!

ReplyDeleteDoes your coke-loving girl read your blog? Hope not (or maybe it's not a Christmas gift)! :-) But this really is super-cool, Jody!

Jodi, I'm glad you found me out here in the middle of nowhere in cyberspace. Come back and visit again.
ReplyDeleteMelanie, I hardly know what tres chic is, but thanks!
Susan, I've already given the scarf to my Coke Lover and she likes it! Yup, she reads my blog.
