And now for another summer love...
Chocolate Zucchini Cake
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
Beat these two ingredients until fluffy.
Add dry ingredients:
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. baking powder
Next add wet ingredients:
3 t. vanilla
2 c. peeled, grated zucchini
1/2 c. buttermilk (or sour milk)
Mix batter until smooth-ish.
Bake at 350* for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Mom's Topping:
After baking, sprinkle on chopped walnuts, semi-sweet chocolate chips,
and a little bit of sugar.

Put back into the oven for a minute or two.
Eat with a big scoop of ice cream.
Heaven will have this cake.
