This evening from my front porch.
Sunset behind the Twin Cottonwoods.
A few minutes later the sky changes
and the moon appears between the branches.

If I can put one touch of rosy sunset
into the life of any man or woman,
I shall feel that I have worked with God.

Beautiful pictures, Jody! I love winter sunsets best. They're like a big blast of beauty when you needed it most.

So lovely!
ReplyDeleteYou have put more than one touch of rosy sunset into my life this evening. Thank you, dear Jody!
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite time of year for sunsets. They always have such pretty pinks and blues and the leaves are gone on all the trees so they're easy to see. Your photos are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, how beautiful! Oh yes, January is a gift giver, isn't she? I love that quote.
ReplyDeleteWowsa. Gorgeous painted skies! Love the Chesterton quote ~ perfect.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIsn't this winter beautiful? I nearly wish it could be Narnian, with only Aslan to send it away! And then we'd get to look at this title indefiniately!
ReplyDeleteWow, so beautiful! Thanks for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, great minds do think alike I guess ;). I was just out on my back porch taking sunset photos last night -- so gorgeous lately! No snow to photograph like others this time of year, but we do have good sunsets here in Texas.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
GG
