I agree, they are beautiful. I wish my lady girls would get back on the nest. I am only getting two maybe 3 a day, They are still growing feathers though. Very pretty colors.
Oh, I am so jealous! I don't get eggs like this anymore. I almost don't like to eat eggs from the store, but at least when the farmers' market is open I can buy good eggs.
I adore farm fresh eggs and would love to take a picture of every new flat we buy, but the Engineer might begin to question my sanity :o). That blue one is very pretty!
Mary, Yes, I do raise my own chickens/eggs. My MIL did when I got here, and she taught me lots about chickens. I can't imagine life without homeraised eggs now.
I'm glad everybody appreciated my egg picture as much as I did. I know it might seem crazy to take a picture of eggs, but really, you must admit, they are pretty!
Mmmm, I'll have a couple with some toast please! :) xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat glorious colours they are! I have just returned from East Anglia with a lovely basket of farm fresh free range eggs.
ReplyDeleteOne day I shall have chickens of my own. One day...
New Year Blessings xx
They ARE lovely! I'd like the greenish one. I shall have a few inferior brown eggs for breakfast.
ReplyDeleteHappy day, Jody!
Yes, they are. We actually had eggs for dinner the last 2 nights. So yummy! We no longer have chickens and I do miss the fresh eggs. Dianntha
