What glorious colours they are! I have just returned from East Anglia with a lovely basket of farm fresh free range eggs.

One day I shall have chickens of my own. One day...

New Year Blessings xx

They ARE lovely! I'd like the greenish one. I shall have a few inferior brown eggs for breakfast.
Happy day, Jody!

Yes, they are. We actually had eggs for dinner the last 2 nights. So yummy! We no longer have chickens and I do miss the fresh eggs. Dianntha

I agree, they are beautiful. I wish my lady girls would get back on the nest.
I am only getting two maybe 3 a day, They are still growing feathers though.
Very pretty colors.

Oh, I am so jealous! I don't get eggs like this anymore. I almost don't like to eat eggs from the store, but at least when the farmers' market is open I can buy good eggs.

I adore farm fresh eggs and would love to take a picture of every new flat we buy, but the Engineer might begin to question my sanity :o). That blue one is very pretty!

Blessings!

Mary,
Yes, I do raise my own chickens/eggs. My MIL did when I got here, and she taught me lots about chickens. I can't imagine life without homeraised eggs now.

I'm glad everybody appreciated my egg picture as much as I did. I know it might seem crazy to take a picture of eggs, but really, you must admit, they are pretty!

Thanks all.

Nothing better!
We get our country eggs from the Amish.
By next year, our son and his family will be having their own eggs to share.
Yay!!!

They're beautiful! Can you leave them sitting out on your counter to enjoy their beauty?

I think the Man is softening on the chicken question. Could this finally be the year? Lovely picture, J--eggs are awfully pretty.

I appreciate eggs more since we moved to a village and have no chickens. What a treat to have an abundance of beautiful eggs!
