Miss Bee loved her new dolly, Louise. She even loved her hair, but the yarn I used for the hair was, shall we say, extra frizzy and shedded like crazy. I told Bee's mommy that if it got too bad, we could always take Louise to the Beauty Parlor and get her a new do. And we did. Bee picked out the hair color and I like the choice. Do you?
I admit, I miss the wavy, big hair she had before (see the post below this one). I really do. But the lint and shedding was just too much. If any of you knitters or crocheters have a good suggestion for non-shedding "curly/wavy" hair yarn, I'd love to hear your ideas.
Precious! Yes, the pink is perfect. Love the braiding (or whatever it is) across the brow :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha -- that's adorable! Thanks for the smile this morning -- pink hair is PERFECT!
ReplyDeleteI'm a knitter, but don't off the top of my head have a suggestion for yarn/hair. I suspect cotton wouldn't fray, but it would be a little limp. I love Louise's new doo, so hopefully that will hold.

She's adorable and I think Bee's choice of hair color is outstanding! Well done!

I'm not sure, but I think Louise might be smiling even bigger since she got her new hair. It's really very cute - I'm so glad Miss Bee was amenable to the change! I'll definitely be interested to hear of suggestions you get regarding doll hair, as I make decisions about future dolls myself.
ReplyDeleteaww, so cute!
ReplyDeleteAh, it's so cute! I loved the curly hair too, but I can only imagine the mess would make a person a bit crazy. My very favorite part though? The thought of tiny Miss Bee, being a typical little girl, choosing PINK hair and probably pleased as punch having a pink haired dolly! Oy veh! I am sure she is in love!
ReplyDeleteAw! Pink! I bet you could find some suggestions on Ravelry.
ReplyDeleteShe's a cutie!
Every girl needs a new "do" every now and then :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Love the braids. I kinda want pink hair myself. haha
