My paternal grandparents gave each of their 14 grandchildren a book every Christmas. My maternal grandparents gave us lots and lots of other kinds of presents (we 4 were their only grandchildren). I was most thrilled to receive a book of my very own each year, and those were the presents that kept on giving and that I still own and my children also read. I have forgotten almost every childhood Christmas present that was not a book!
I loved getting books for Christmas and would usually have them read before Christmas break was over. I love the wrapping. It is perfect. Did you get any of the snow? We got about 2 feet, but it drifted like 3 feet.
Hmmm...I'm going with Bibles?

Looks like some reading time for Grandma, Grandpa, and their babies! Have a Very Merry Christmas Jody!!!
ReplyDeleteBooks, it looks like :) I'm thinking they are children's books, maybe Beatrix Potter. Whatever they are, I'm sure they'll love them.
