  2. What glorious colours they are! I have just returned from East Anglia with a lovely basket of farm fresh free range eggs.

One day I shall have chickens of my own. One day...

  3. They ARE lovely! I'd like the greenish one. I shall have a few inferior brown eggs for breakfast.
    Happy day, Jody!

  7. Oh, I am so jealous! I don't get eggs like this anymore. I almost don't like to eat eggs from the store, but at least when the farmers' market is open I can buy good eggs.

  9. I adore farm fresh eggs and would love to take a picture of every new flat we buy, but the Engineer might begin to question my sanity :o). That blue one is very pretty!

    Blessings!

  10. Mary,
Yes, I do raise my own chickens/eggs. My MIL did when I got here, and she taught me lots about chickens. I can't imagine life without homeraised eggs now.

I'm glad everybody appreciated my egg picture as much as I did. I know it might seem crazy to take a picture of eggs, but really, you must admit, they are pretty!

    Thanks all.

  12. Nothing better!
We get our country eggs from the Amish.
By next year, our son and his family will be having their own eggs to share.
