Can you guess what I've been doing?
How about now?
A little sifted flour on the cupboard
A little rolling
A little cutting
A little baking, just till the edges have a golden tinge
A little powdered sugar, vanilla and milk make the glaze
Sprinkles
Red Hots
and a Helper to sprinkle whilst I frost.
YUM!
Take a bite!
It's a Valentine's Day tradition.

ReplyDeleteThat picture reminded me of something my daughter told me this week.
ReplyDeleteShe and her husband took their four kids out for a Valentine's Day lunch on Saturday. As she is six months pregnant, she told the kids to enjoy the lunch and not expect anything "heart shaped that needs frosting" this year.
I think she's hormonal. :)
I love the quote..and the cookies look so spring-like and so good! Love to visit here, lifts my heart! :D
ReplyDeleteI covet your vintage heart cookie cutter. Happy Saint Valentine's Day, Gumbo Lily!
