...his days are like grass....

As for man, his days are like grass;
As a flower of the field,
so he flourishes,
When the wind has passed over it,
it is no more
And its place acknowledges it no longer.
But the lovingkindness of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting
on those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children's children,
To those who keep His covenant,
And who remember His precepts
to do them.

~Psalm 103:15-18

Have you ever seen grass "in bloom?"

All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness
is like the flower of the field.
The grass withers,
the flower fades,
When the breath of the Lord blows upon it....
But the word of our God stands forever.

~Isaiah 40:6-8

  2. You are so 'in tune'!! I have often thought grass was really pretty all tall and blooming too. Have always loved that Scripture.
There's a spiritual advantage to living rurally and being so close to the earth and what it has to offer. Us city folk just have to make more of an effort to achieve it. I learn much from you too.
