That is on our to do list before it gets really rainy. I'm going to try the baking soda trick and see if that helps with the smell! I do have to say I prefer the summer/fall coop cleaning more than the winter/spring. It always smells more in the spring! I think I could watch a video of a farm/ranch wife's life over and over again. I find it so inspiring.
You are the most energetic and willing partner, a VERY good wife. I admire you so very much. I should tell you all the time what a fine writer you are and how wonderful this real life chronicle really is.
I love it and I love YOU!Pom Pomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01524994024698986829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6095103946834851624.post-77214111186695255592011-10-24T23:56:03.878-06:002011-10-24T23:56:03.878-06:00G'day. great photos. We always had our oil in a Folgers coffee can. I know all of the deworming and getting the sheep ready for winter. Until I read your post I had forgotten being mostly a city girl now.
Driving the truck when we moved pastures was always a fun day for me. I always and still enjoy knowing there is new food for the cows to eat.
We never had weather as cold as you though.
I am glad you write about your day because it makes me remember those things I have forgot.
Not the chicken pen though. My lungs hurt all the next day because of the dust. No matter how much I clean it, I try to every week, but it still takes me all of a hour and I still cough and cough. It is just work. I think "Yick," is a good word.Farm Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00998621464797636686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6095103946834851624.post-29753584410598059002011-10-24T18:40:49.448-06:002011-10-24T18:40:49.448-06:00Whoa!
