Fresh out of the pan!
Wheat bread made with molasses and some rye.
Please pass the butter!
We eat alot of bread. There is nothing like fresh homemade. This looks yummy.
okay...what's your recipe for the molasses/wheat bread? Looks delicious. Your banana bread looks yummy too!WTG!Love,Debbie
HA! I guess I'm not the only one wondering about where the recipe is....hmmmm....? I can smell it from here! Yum.
Your loaves look delish! Yum! Abby from Arkansas*Sorry I couldn't quickly figure out how to have an identity! So--am off to "find" myself!
You go girl. Thank you for the reminder I need to do some baking !! xoxoxo Clarice
No "real recipe". I just use a favorite white bread recipe and replace about half of the white flour with a combination of whole wheat and rye. The flavor I love comes from the molasses. Add about 1/4 cup of it to a batch that makes two loaves for the sweetener. ~Jody
That is so cute, I think I will go and do it, I'm off to bake banana bread!
You ambitious one! You are such a go-getter and I admire your culinary proficiency!Yummo! Wish I could pop in for some Lady Grey Tea and a slice of homemade bannana bread! Our bananas get devoured by everyone before I ever get the chance to bake banana bread...must buy double bunches next time!Joanne
Yummy!Put the kettle on , I'll be over for a cup of tea...I wish! Can almost smell it from here!Hugs
Mmmm Good- pass the butter! You've got the same pretty white & blue Pyrex bowl that my mother has!
Beth,This bowl and it's mate were given to me by my step-mom. She was going to throw them out. I like them and just recently saw a set in a Country Living or some magazine telling of their value. Well, mine are well-used, so probably not so valuable, but they do the job!~Jody
I'm coming for dinner! LOL
